The Bible

We believe every word of the sixty six books of the Bible in their entirety to be inspired by God in the originals, and thus the Bible is God's Word, providentially preserved, applicable to us today, useful for life, and our only foundation for faith and practice both now and for every generation. (II Timothy 3:16-17; Psalm 12:6-8)

God

We believe that God is one Triune God, existing in three distinct persons; Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, all three persons being coequal as God in power and glory, co-identical in nature, and having the same attributes and perfections. (Deuteronomy 6:4; I Corinthians 13:14)

Jesus

Regarding the Person of Jesus, we believe that He is God with a distinct divine nature, pre-existent through all eternity, and as such in Scripture He is called God, worshiped as God, and identified as Jehovah. Without ceasing to be God, Jesus took on human flesh when he was conceived by the Holy Spirit and born of the virgin Mary in Bethlehem. Although Christ is fully God and fully man, He is one person with two distinct natures and wills that act in complete agreement with the will of the Father.

Regarding the work of Jesus, we believe that He accomplished our redemption through His finished work on the cross as a representative, vicarious, substitutionary sacrifice for our sins; that our justification is made sure by His literal, physical resurrection from the dead, His ascension into Heaven where He is our High Priestly Representative, Intercessor, and Advocate; that He is Lord over all creation both now and forever. The Holy Spirit

Regarding the Person of the Holy Spirit, we believe that He is the third person of the Trinity and is co-equal with God the Father and God the Son. He exhibits divine attributes. He displays will, emotions, and intellect. Mankind can resist Him, lie to Him, grieve Him, and quench Him.

Regarding the work of the Holy Spirit, we believe that the Holy Spirit convicts of sin, regenerates believers making them children of God through the new birth, assures them of Heaven, and by His indwelling enables Christians to live a godly life. He is currently actively involved in intercession for the believer, sanctification of the believer, and the impartation of gifts to the believer upon salvation. (John 16:8-11; II Corinthians 3:6; I Corinthians 12:12-14; Romans 8:9; Ephesians 1:13-14)

We believe that the sign gifts of the Spirit, such as speaking in tongues and healing, were temporary. We believe that speaking in tongues was never the common or necessary sign of the baptism or filling of the Holy Spirit and that ultimate deliverance of the body from sickness or death awaits the consummation of our salvation in the resurrection, though God frequently chooses to answer the prayer of believers for physical healing. Mankind

We believe that man was created in the image of God but that through Adam's sin, the race fell, inherited a sinful nature, and became alienated from God. We believe that man is not able to remedy his lost condition apart from the grace of God through faith in Christ alone.We believe that mankind being created in the image of God and for His glory has great worth in God's eyes and should be treated with respect and dignity. We believe that from the moment of conception man is given an eternal soul and therefore will live forever either in heaven or the Lake of Fire. Salvation

We believe that salvation is by God's grace through faith in Christ's shed blood on the cross alone. It is the free gift of God, not given because of any virtue or works of man. We believe that all true believers possess the gift of eternal life, Christ's perfect righteousness, an inheritance in the family of God, and the divine guarantee that they will be kept by the power of God secure in Christ forever.(Ephesians 2:8-10; John 1:12; I Peter 1:18-19; John 6:37-40, 10:27-30; Romans 8:1, 38-39; I Peter 1:4-5)

The Church

We believe that the Church, which is the body and espoused bride of Christ, is a spiritual organism made up of all born-again persons of this present age, which began with Christ and the Apostles, was empowered at Pentecost, and will be caught up to be with Christ at the Rapture. We believe that the establishment and continuance of local churches is clearly taught and defined in the New Testament and therefore a local church is an autonomous, organized body of born-again, baptized, believers practicing the scriptural ordinances of Baptism by immersion in water and the Lord's Supper for obedient believers, actively engaged in fulfilling the Great Commission, and free of any non-biblical external authority or control. Last Things

We believe in the literal, physical, second coming of Jesus at a time unrevealed but always imminent. We believe that before his second coming, He will first rapture His waiting church by resurrecting the saved dead and translating the saved living from the earth. He will then pour out the righteous judgments of God upon the unbelieving world during a literal seven year tribulation period. At the end of that period, he will physically descend to the earth and establish His glorious and literal kingdom over all the nations for one thousand years. (I Thessalonians 4:13-18; Titus 2:13; I Thessalonians 1:10; Revelation 3:10; Zechariah 14:4-11; Revelation 19:11-16, 20:1-6; Psalm 89:3-4)

Eternity

We believe in the bodily resurrection of all men, the saved to eternal life, and the unsaved to judgment and everlasting punishment. We believe that the souls of the saved at death go immediately to be with Jesus in Heaven where their works will be judged and rewards determined; that the souls of the unsaved at death descend immediately into Hell until the final day of judgment, at which time their bodies shall be raised from the grave, judged, and cast into the lake of fire, the place of final and everlasting punishment. Biblical Separation

We believe in both personal and ecclesiastical separation. We believe that all the saved should live in such a manner as not to bring reproach upon their Savior. We believe that God has commanded His children to separate from apostasy as well as worldly and sinful pleasures, practices and associations. Corporately we are to separate from any fellowship or affiliation with those who deny the basic fundamentals of the faith, those who teach and practice extra-Biblical traditions and doctrines, those who affiliate with any form of apostasy.
