Ryan Horkavy

Pastor

Pastor Ryan Horkavy planted Crossroad Baptist Church in 2008 and has been the lead pastor ever since. He earned a BA in Bible in 2001 and MA in Bible in 2003, both from Bob Jones University in Greenville, SC. He earned a MDiv from International Baptist College and Seminary in Chandler, AZ and is currently completing a Doctor of Ministry degree from Faith Baptist Bible College and Theological Seminary in Ankeny, Iowa. Before moving to Arizona, Pastor Horkavy, with his wife Jennifer, directed the college ministry at Morningside Baptist Church in Greenville, SC for three and a half years. Sensing God’s clear call to church planting, they and their two children spent two years raising support to move to Arizona to start Crossroad. While in Arizona, Pastor Horkavy served as the Assistant Pastor of Westpointe Baptist Church in Goodyear, for two years. Pastor Ryan and family are passionate about reaching the lost and training the next generation of disciple makers until Jesus comes.

KC Hansen

Pastor

Pastor KC started at Crossroad Baptist as an intern in May of 2017. He finished his B.A. in Bible and Christian Service w/ emphasis in Church Music from International Baptist College and Seminary in May of 2019. He and his wife, Stephanie, moved to Buckeye AZ in the fall of 2019 to be a part of CBC as he continued his graduate degree from IBCS. He joined the Army Reserve as a Chaplain Candidate in 2021. He and his wife served faithfully in various ministries at CBC, including Music, SS teaching, Outreach ministries, and hospitality ministries. He earned his M.A. in Ministry from IBCS in May of 2025 and was ordained into vocational ministry in November of 2025. He joined the pastoral team at CBC as he seeks his M.Div. from Liberty University.
